Blazing Barracudas Fee Information

The 2025-2026 BBA swim year runs from August 25, 2025 to approximately August 1, 2026 (pending championship meet schedule with LSC merger). BBA Coaching Fees are autobilled on the 1st of the month via CC or ACH.

All swimmers will pay the $125 yearly registration fee and a $205 initial payment. These fees are due upon registration.  Payment plans are available for initial payments upon request.  Please contact Sarah Tobin at [email protected] if needed.

 

There will be an additional fee for swimmers who attend Long Course practice at CSU from April – July to contribute to additional pool rent fees. Swimmers who indicate CSU as their home pool and swam short course at CSU throughout the year will not pay this fee, as their fees already subsidize the pool rent.

 

Fee Descriptions:

Registration Fee: This fee covers USA Swimming memberships & Lake Erie Registrations as well as a team t-shirt and one silicone swim cap.  This fee is applicable per swimmer. This fee is non-refundable and is due at the time of registration.

 

Initial Payment:  The initial payment is $205 is due at the time of registration and is used for pool rental.

 

Monthly/Annual Dues: The monthly/annual fees generally cover costs such as coach and staff salaries and any team supplies. Monthly fees will be billed on the 1st of the month and may also include any applicable non-recurring fees.  Monthly dues will begin October 1st as billing occurs in arrears (September is billed in October, as an example).  Annual dues will be billed on October 1.

 

Credit Card/ACH Processing Fee:  Families will incur the Credit Card processing fee of 2.95% + $.30 or the ACH processing fee of $1.25 or as the processor issues payments.

 

Non-Recurring Fees: These fees would include meet fees, equipment, initial distance requests, or apparel fees. These fees will vary by group placement and meets attended. These fees are billed monthly on the first of the month via the credit card or checking account on file through the Barracudas website.  Each local meet includes a $6 BBA surcharge per swimmer.  Championship meets includes a $15 BBA surcharge per swimmer. Travel meets outside the district include a $25 BBA surcharge per swimmer. Swimmers will not be permitted to register for meets if their account is not current.

 

Late Fees: Any payments that are not completed by the 15th of the month will incur a $10 late fee per month.

Delinquent Fees:  A $10 fee will be assessed anytime your payment is declined. Example:  insufficient funds, invalid credit card number or expiration date, or self-chosen declined payment, etc.  BBA is charged every time a credit card is processed, regardless of whether the payment goes through. To reduce the number of transactions, please make sure your credit card is always current in the system.

 

Standard Information:

All members are required to have a Visa, Mastercard, or Discover credit card or checking account on file through the Barracudas website. Failure to maintain this information will result in failed payments and late fees.

Any accounts that are more than 30 days overdue will be contacted for a resolution. Any accounts that are 60 days past due will not be permitted to participate in practices, meets, or team programming. The team will not permit transfer to another club with outstanding fees owed to Barracudas.

All fees are billed on the 1st of the month through the Barracudas website via the credit card or checking account on file.

Monthly fees will not be prorated. Annual fees are non-refundable.

Families may stop monthly dues at any time with written notice by the 15th of the month to Sarah Tobin ([email protected]) with their coach copied. Should a family suspend payments and return in the same season, a $25 reactivation fee will be assessed. A minimum of 5 monthly installments must be made before an account can be suspended, or the balance will be due at the time of account suspension. 

If a swimmer changes practice groups by the recommendations of the coaching staff during an approved period, the monthly installments will be adjusted to the new fees.

Discounts:

Multi-Swimmer Discounts: A 5% discount will be applied for multiple swimmers for monthly and annual payments. This discount is not available for the Collegiate/HS Preseason Swimmer option.

Financial Aid/Outreach:

Financial Aid for the Barracudas applies to monthly dues only. Meet fees and expenses do not have the ability to be discounted. Financial Aid is based on merit and need. It is applicable for one year and will require reapplication if needed again. Families that are seeking financial aid must be in good standing with the club, team policies, and any required service hours. All information is kept confidential. Families in need of financial aid should contact Stacey Aroney ([email protected]) for review instructions through the LSC and Barracudas.
