
Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (updated 01.01.2025)
Starting April 2020, the USA Swimming Safe Sport staff has been hosting Zoom trainings for parents, minor athletes and coaches to assist clubs in completing the Training and Education requirement of the Safe Sport Club Recognition program.
All participants will need to register to attend training. Please send this information to all your parents and athletes to encourage participation and help your club achieve the goals of Safe Sport Club Recognition.
ADULT ATHLETE APT CERTIFICATION
Effective June 23, 2019, all athlete members 18 years of age and older must satisfactorily complete the US Center for Safe Sport Athlete Protection Training Program every 12 months. Athletes who are not certified within 30 days after their 18th birthdays or do not renew their certification every 12 months will not be permitted to participate in USA Swimming activities like sanctioned swim meets and practices.

NO PHOTOGRAPHY ZONES/STANDARD PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY
No photography is permitted in locker rooms, bathrooms, or changing areas along with behind the starting blocks. Swimmers should exhibit accepted standards of decency in their behavior and clothing and/or suits.
